  • Hydraulic Repair Facility Situation: Returning worn, damaged cylinder rods back to original equipment specifications. Much of the company's work involves mobile equipment that when out of service, greatly impacts its customers profitability.

    Need: Find a hard chrome-plating partner that could provide quicker turnaround.

    Solution: After the careful screening of several supplier options the customer chose HCS based on their in house ability to strip, repair damage, grind, chrome plate oversize and grind to final tolerances ensuring quicker job turnaround.

  • Aluminum Plate/Sheet Mill Situation: This rolling mill had to shut down one of its lines due to wear on the bearing journals in a large gearbox causing vibration in the line damaging the final sheet product.

    Need: Fast turn around tight tolerance repair on bearing journals.

    Solution: After meeting with the customer HCS accepted this challenging job that required grinding the journal areas undersize, plate oversize and final grind to tight tolerance finish size.

    Result: From parts receipt to delivery, turned the job around in ___ (hours/days) helping the customer quickly get its line back into production.
